Summer Mocktail Recipes

Summertime calls for cold refreshing drinks! I’ve been dreaming of all things summer for months! And now we’re here and I realize just how important those cool icy cocktails are… because I’m 36 weeks pregnant and hot all.the.time!

Growing this sweet baby has been no excuse not to enjoy a fun drink. Thanks to Simply Limeade, I’ve recreated some of my favorite summertime drinks into a mocktail version suitable for mommas, kids and anyone inbetween!

You can make these as fancy or as simple as you’d like. I kept mine simple due to limited grocery runs with the corona crazy. But, there are lots of options if you have a bit more time or availability!

And of course, they’re always better with a paper umbrella!

The Margarita

The drink that started it all!

Basic: 1 part Simply Limeade + 1 part flavored sparkling water

Fancy it up: Add a salted rim + a splash of OJ!

The flavor of your sparkling water will determine your type of margarita… I’ve used LaCroix Lime for classic and Target’s Good & Gather Watermelon for a summer twist.

Moscow Mule

Gosh, I love a good Moscow Mule when we go out!

Basic: 1 part Simply Limeade + 2 parts Canada Dry BOLD Ginger Ale

Fancy it up: Swap the Ginger Ale for a non-alcoholic Ginger Beer (Trader Joe’s has one!) + crystalized ginger candy for garnish!

If using Ginger Ale soda, the new BOLD version is key. Every good Moscow Mule is extra gingery 😉

Strawberry Daiquiri

Oh man, I’d pick this over ice cream any day!

Basic: Simply Limeade + Frozen Strawberries

Fancy it up: No need! It’s so good. Just swap out strawberries with another frozen fruit for a different flavored daiquiri.

I used a single serve Ninja Blender cup. Add a cup or so of frozen berries, fill with Simply Limeade to cover and blend until smooth!

Frozen Watermelon Limeade

I guess you could call this a daiquiri technically, but I felt it deserved a section of it’s own because its SO GOOD!!

Basic: Simply Limeade + Frozen Watermelon chunks

Mix like the daiquiri recipe above and enjoy! So great for 4th of July and all those watermelon pregnancy cravings!
